01

Agreement to these Terms

By accessing or using Pill Reminder: Care Tracker (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be legally able to enter into this agreement. If you use the Service for another person or an organization, you represent that you have authority to act for them and to provide the information you enter.

02

What the Service does

The Service helps people organize medication schedules, scan and review prescriptions, record doses, receive reminders, maintain health summaries, sync selected records, use optional AI-assisted tools, and share selected information with caregivers or clinicians.

Features may differ by platform, region, account state, or release and may change over time. We do not promise that any particular feature will always be available.

03

Accounts and your responsibilities

You are responsible for activity under your account and for the accuracy, authority, and legality of information you provide.

  • Provide accurate account information and keep your credentials and devices secure.
  • Only enter, upload, or share another person’s information when you have permission or another lawful basis.
  • Review medication names, doses, schedules, warnings, extracted text, AI output, and recipient permissions before relying on or sharing them.
  • Keep a reliable backup plan for medication instructions and do not make the Service your only source of essential health information.
  • Notify us promptly if you believe your account, device, invite code, or share link has been compromised.
04

Medical disclaimer and emergencies

The Service is not a healthcare provider, medical device, emergency service, or substitute for professional judgment. Content, reminders, interaction checks, reports, prescription extraction, and AI output may be incomplete, delayed, or wrong. Always compare information with the original prescription and instructions from a qualified clinician or pharmacist.

Do not start, stop, change, or delay medication or treatment based only on the Service. Do not disregard professional advice because of anything shown by the Service. If you think someone may be experiencing a medical emergency, contact local emergency services immediately.

05

Reminders, alerts, and caregiver features

Reminders and alerts are provided on a best-effort basis and can fail or arrive late because of device settings, operating-system restrictions, battery state, connectivity, time-zone changes, notification permissions, or service interruptions. Keep an independent way to remember critical doses.

Caregiver alerts, shared reports, and care-team features do not create a clinician-patient relationship, continuous monitoring service, or guarantee that another person will see or act on an update.

06

Prescription extraction and AI

Optional extraction and AI features use automated systems and third-party model providers. Inputs may include redacted prescription text, messages you send, and medication or prescription context you choose to attach. Outputs are probabilistic and may contain errors or omissions.

You must review and confirm every result. Do not use automated output as a diagnosis, treatment decision, or sole basis for medication-related action.

07

Privacy and sharing

Our Privacy Policy explains how the Service handles information and is incorporated into these Terms. You control whether to create an account, sync data, enable notifications, use AI features, or share records, subject to the requirements of the feature.

When you share information, you are responsible for choosing the recipient and permission level. Revoking access stops future access through the Service but cannot retrieve information that a recipient already viewed, downloaded, copied, or shared outside the Service.

08

Acceptable use

You may not misuse the Service or help anyone else do so.

  • Use the Service unlawfully, fraudulently, or to violate another person’s privacy, confidentiality, or intellectual-property rights.
  • Impersonate another person, misrepresent professional credentials, or submit health information without authority.
  • Probe, disrupt, overload, bypass, or interfere with security, authentication, rate limits, or normal operation.
  • Upload malware, harmful code, or content that is unlawful, abusive, or designed to injure another person.
  • Scrape, resell, or reverse engineer the Service except where applicable law expressly permits it.
09

Your content and our rights

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, transmit, display, and create technical copies of that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service and provide features you request. This license ends when the content is deleted, subject to reasonable backup, legal, and operational retention.

The Service, its software, design, branding, and materials are owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a personal, limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. Feedback you voluntarily provide may be used without restriction or compensation.

10

Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties for app distribution, authentication, cloud hosting, email, notifications, feature delivery, AI processing, and device integrations. Their products may be governed by separate terms and privacy policies, and their availability is outside our control.

Links or integrations do not imply that we endorse all third-party content, advice, or services.

11

Availability, suspension, and termination

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features, impose reasonable usage limits, or restrict access when needed for security, maintenance, legal compliance, or protection of users and the Service.

You may stop using the Service at any time and may delete your account in the app’s Settings. We may suspend or terminate access for a material or repeated violation of these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

12

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so some of these terms may not apply to you.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we and our suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, loss of data, lost profits, personal decisions made from inaccurate information, or failure of reminders or notifications. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

13

Changes and general terms

We may update these Terms as the Service changes. We will update the date above and provide additional notice when required. If you continue using the Service after revised Terms take effect, you accept them.

If part of these Terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent. Applicable law and courts with lawful jurisdiction govern disputes, without limiting any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.
